A virgin page

Hello out there.

An empty page is full of promise. An empty page sees everything else as a pen. We start out with empty pages to our history - empty pages that reach out to be filled by life's quill.

The Seanachie in me wants to share pages full of the interesting characters that have blessed my life, and made living so much fun - customers, coworkers, roommates, pals, gal pals, homeless acquaintances, sober, drunk & drugged - the people who have penned a rich texture onto my personal pages in life.

I hope you enjoy hearing about these folks - they're odd and normal, outrageous, crazy, smart, and warm. Might even be a bit of poetry thrown in.

I promise to write a bit each day, and eventually even post it!

Steve, why post any of this? Ancient history. I'm disappointed that your glory days were at the "Hero House" (certainly a misnomer, in my experience). I'm sure that your tales seems eloquent to your dedicated audience of Star Wars fans. But if you're going to post a blog, per favore, step it up a bit! You might just as well confess your devotion to Melissa Manchester and express your appreciation for the string stylings of Henry Mancini. Please, child. It's 2007. LSK

Ah, LSK - I did indeed have a devotion to Melissa Manchester. But I don't remember a Mancini fetish...hmmmm...
I have been absolutely remiss in putting up postings - none almost since before my birthday! Though I must say that the parade of folks wandering through the Hero House (Boston Eddie, James&John, Jimmy the Greek, Kelly with the perfectly carved carrot in the shape of a phallus (veins and all), the guy who won a bet licking his own....well, you know.) I had/took the time in those days to watch it wander through. Life's a lot less laid back with children, pets, my own customers, wife, and stuff that it's fun to throw my mind on back to the days when people and chemicals combined for a rather different experience. It's still really interesting - to me...
But there's less perspective on it yet.
Anyhow, LSK - I'll get more stuff up but it's bound to be equivalently banal!! :-)
Thanks for your comment.
